This beach town does not disappoint when it comes to starting your day with delicious food. This guide covers some of the best spots to grab brunch or breakfast in Cocoa Beach during your stay. Where to have Breakfast in Cocoa Beach
Simply Delicious Cafe & Bakery: This locally owned cafe serves up freshly baked goods, homemade bread, delicious omelettes, pancakes and French toast. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, making it an excellent place to start your day. It is small inside, so expect a wait time during busy periods like the weekend.

Juice N Java Cafe: As its name suggests, this cafe specialises in fresh juices and coffee-based drinks. However, they also serve healthy breakfast options like fruit bowls, avocado toast and yoghurt parfaits. One of my favourites is the chipotle chicken wrap, so delicious!

Salty Bagel: Looking for a quick grab-and-go option? Salty Bagel offers a range of freshly made bagels that can be filled with anything from bacon and eggs, jellies, to lox and cream cheese! They have a breakfast bagel menu too if you can’t decide, or you can also build your own breakfast bagel.

Healthy Breakfast Options
Café Surfanista: This surf-themed cafe has a range of delicious organic, healthy foods. From baked goods, fresh juices, coffees, bowls, smoothies and toasts, there is something for everyone (the Cardiff Special bowl is my fav). The menu is also allergen-friendly, and highlights vegan, gluten free and dairy free choices. The decor and surf shop inside are worth a look.

Acai Express: For a quick healthy breakfast in Cocoa Beach check out Acai Express. From bowls, smoothies, juices and toasts they offer a selection of tasty options. They’re also a perfect treat to take to the beach.

Hearty Breakfast in Cocoa Beach
Whisk & Grind: If you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, check out the newest breakfast restaurant in Cocoa Beach, Whisk & Grind. The menu features classic American fare like egg dishes, burgers, French toast, omelettes, skillets, sandwiches, tacos and pancakes. They also have a convenient Peets Coffee drive-thru and coffee bar.

- Opening Hours: 7am – 2pm
The Tiny Turtle: This locally owned restaurant serves up Caribbean fusion food in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast menu has a host of options like burritos, tacos, biscuits, bowls, omelettes and stuffed French toast. They also have a reasonably priced kid’s menu offering great value for money.
- Address: 249 Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach
- Breakfast Hours: 8am – 10.45am
Sunrise Diner: Sunrise Diner is a family-owned breakfast restaurant with friendly staff serving Greek, Italian & American fare in a casual setting. This retro diner has been in the area for several years and has menu items such as steak and eggs, omelettes, pancakes and daily specials. They serve up generous portions, and there is often a wait time, but it’s worth it.

- Breakfast Hours: 7am – 11.30am
4th St Fillin Station: This place used to be a gas station, hence the name, but don’t be fooled, it has been transformed into a gastropub with a garden out back. The breakfast menu has a variety of options to suit everyone. From benedicts, bowls, burritos, tacos, biscuits, sandwiches, toasts, waffles, pancakes and endless drink options, you can eat what you please.

Ultimate Brunch Spots in Cocoa Beach
Flavour Kitchen: This is my number one spot for brunch in Cocoa Beach and should be at the top of your list! The chef prepares your food in an open kitchen and features menu items such as omelettes, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches and weekly specials. Complementary mimosas are included in the price of a plate, but make a reservation in advance as it regularly books up.

- Brunch hours: Sunday 11am – 3pm
4th Street Fillin Station: On the weekend, this place offers a brunch menu. It includes waffles or pancakes, burgers and brunch boards with pastries, fruits, spreads and specials. They have drink specials too on mimosas and sangrias. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their dessert parlour serves delicious ice cream flavours and shakes.

- Brunch Hours: 7.30am – 1 pm Sat & Sun
Alibi Cocktails & Bites: These guys have recently started serving brunch every Saturday and Sunday. I’ve not checked it out yet, but the menu and drinks look amazing.

- Brunch Hours: 10am – 2 pm Sat & Sun
Boardroom: This wine bar specialises in sharing brunch boards and plates. They can be sweet or savoury, depending on what you’d like to order. Their drinks selection doesn’t disappoint either, from cocktails, mimosas with a twist (if you’d like) and a choice of frosés.

- Brunch hours: 10am – 2pm Sunday
Best Breakfast Restaurant in Cape Canaveral
Southern Charm Café: As the name suggests, this charming cafe cooks up Southern comfort breakfast food like biscuits and gravy, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, platters and eggs benedict. It’s not to be missed when you’re in the area!

- Opening hours: 6.30am – 2.30pm (closed Wednesday)

I usually went with the hotel breakfast and now I regret it because I missed out on so many places! I have had Tiny Turtle on my list forever, I hear they have great burgers!
